Metformin and Glaucoma
Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness in the world. A medical group submitted a report to Life Extension Magazine® that provides persuasive data that the AMPK-activating drug metformin may be of significant benefit in protecting the eyes against the threat of blindness from open angle glaucoma.
